LEONID ALEXEEV

Leonid Alexeev is one of the main designers in Russian menswear. His career began at FOSP (important Russian suit manufacturer) where he started as a designer of young fashion department.

In 2002 Leonid entered Saint Petersburg Fashion Week with his own label.

In 2007 after receiving bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design Menswear at Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design Leonid has returned to his studio founded in 2004 in Saint-Petersburg where he continues to elaborate two lines of prêt-a-porter clothes (Leonid Alexeev Homme and Leonid Alexeev Femme), to operate with private and corporate orders, theaters, movies and stars of show business.

Designer is not afraid to experiment with mass-market, that’s why he constantly collaborates with various clothing and accessories brands. Since August 2009 the studio of Leonid Alexeev is working on a casual clothing line named ANTEN distributed in Moscow and Russian regions as well as through their own store in Saint-Petersburg in MEGA Shopping Mall.

Leonid Alexeev was invited to Chekhov Moscow Art Theatre to create costumes for a play “The Pickwick Papers”, which premiered in April 2009.

For it’s original style and achievements in menswear in October 2009 the brand was awarded by GQ magazine in nomination “Designer Of The Year”.
